Audio & Music modifying?

Hey, I just recently picked up 1Quest, and so far I'm enjoying it; however I've noticed that the audio quality is somewhat inconsistent. I was curious to know if it's possible to mod the audio, I'd love to do an overhaul in the near future!

This forum is an old one. With the steam release, I hope to migrate to steamworks :)

Until them I would be happy to help you here.

Start by reading the wiki I will use as documentation: http://ratzngodz.fr/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
The getting started section will show you who to start a modding project and how to add resources (picture in the example, but mp3 works all the same).

Once there, you can search in the full xml files where I play musics (search for .mp3) and switch to your mp3 files!

r_music="1", what is that? The number of audio the system has to choose from, or is it a binary value related to music being turned on?

CctlEffectSound is used to launch both music and sounds. r_music is used to tell it is a music (1 for music, 0 for sound).
- Only one music is played at the same time (launching another CctlEffectSound effect will replace the current music)
- Music will automatically loop
